We collect your email address via our contact form (FluentForm). We use this to send you the guide and occasional updates about new guides, experiences, and Aliados. You can unsubscribe at any time.
When you purchase a guideWe collect the information needed to process your order through WooCommerce and Stripe. This includes your name, email address, and billing details. Payment card information is processed entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
When you contact usIf you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we retain that conversation in order to respond to you and to follow up where relevant.
When you submit the Aliado enquiry formWe collect your name, business name, WhatsApp number, email address (optional), and the information you share in your message. We use this only to contact you about joining the Maya Tuya Aliado network.
Automatically collected dataLike most websites, mayatuya.com collects basic technical data when you visit — your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent. This is used for security and to understand how the site is being used. We do not sell this data.

We use a small number of trusted services to operate the site. Each has its own privacy policy:

- WooCommerce / Automattic — e-commerce platform. automattic.com/privacy
- FluentForm — contact and download forms. Data is stored on our WordPress server.
- Flagcdn.com — flag images used in our language switcher. No personal data is shared.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising tracking technology at this time.
- Email addresses from guide downloads — retained until you unsubscribe
- Purchase records — retained for 7 years for accounting and legal compliance
- Aliado enquiry data — retained for up to 2 years or until no longer relevant
- Contact conversations — retained for up to 2 years
